Jerold N. Appelbaum

Jerold N. Appelbaum, 85, of Kennesaw, GA passed away October 8, 2020. Jerry was born March 19, 1935 in Brooklyn, NY. Jerry is survived by his wife of 38 years, Marge Fischer, and his sons Leigh Appelbaum of Hauppauge, NY, Brian and Wendy Appelbaum of Phoenix, AZ, and Mitchell and Wendy Appelbaum of Port Washington, WI. Jerry had four grandchildren, Geoffrey, Parker, Jacob and Lexie, and many friends. Before passing, Jerry forged a 85-year trail of laughter, generosity, compassion and wisdom. He will be dearly missed. A Celebration of Life will be held for Jerry in the near future. In lieu of flowers, please donate online at www.wellstar.org/givetohospice.

I was married to Jerry between 1957 and 1979. We also dated for five years.I am the mother of the sons.

Although I did not appear in the obituary, I was married to Jerry for 21 years and the mother of his three sons. I feel bad for Marge.
