Born in: Geneva, Ohio
Resided in: Dahlonega, Georgia

In loving memory, Teresa (Teri) Mary McCamish, 66, of Dahlonega Ga, passed away on 26 March 2025.

Teri was born on 28 June 1958 to Arthur and Florence Remieka in Geneva OH. After Teri graduated from North High School, Eastlake, OH in 1976, she went on to study Criminal Justice at Rochester Institute of Technology.

After graduating with a degree in Criminal Justice, she joined the U.S. Army as a Personnel Management Specialist for 8 years. After the military, Teri continued to serve her nation in a civilian capacity at the troop medical clinic and as the executive assistant to the Commander at 5th Ranger Training Battalion, Camp Frank D. Merrill until her retirement.

In 1998, Teri met Craig and enjoyed 27 years  living life to the fullest together.

In 2005, Teri retired and spent her time with her husband seeing the world one cruise at a time. While at home, she spent her time with her grandchildren and doing her various hobbies and volunteer work.

Teri was preceded in death by her father, Arthur Remeika Sr; her mother, Florence Mary Dudek-Remeika; sisters, Florence Stanonik-Remeika and Karen Pavlosky; brothers, Arthur Remeika Jr. and Thomas Remeika. She is survived by her husband Craig McCamish, her two sons Andrew and Kenneth Dornhecker; sisters Kathy Gissonne of Cleveland, Ohio., Mary Nar of Eastlake, Ohio, Elizabeth Norton of Estero, Fla., and JoAnne Myers of Spring, Texas; and brother Joseph Remeika of Chandler, Ariz.

My moms motto on life that she truly represented: Life should NOT be a journey to the grave with the intentions of arriving safely in a well preserved body, but rather to skid in sideways, chocolate in one hand, martini in the other, totally worn out and screaming “WOO HOO, what a ride!!!”.
